DallasBlue is an ideal platform for you to help the business and local community. Network with fellow DallasBluers, do good, and promote and represent your company and yourself!
Sign up for the DallasBlue Volunteers mailing list for upcoming volunteer programs.
Meeting volunteers help ensure our meetings run smoothly. They staff the registration table, facilitate food and beverage, work with venue staff, or take photos. We provide complimentary registration to our volunteers. Spend the first hour working for us and enjoy the rest of the meeting on your own. Network with business executives and professionals and enjoy free food and drink!
DallasBlue Ambassadors are the glue of our events. They are experienced networkers who thrive in connecting people in the community. It's their job to welcome and get to know everyone at our meetings. They find synergies, make introductions, and guide conversations.
Ambassadors commit to:
What are you passionate about? We seek leaders to to form groups and develop programs for them. Group can be broad or specific, such as for CEOs, small business owners, women, wireless developers, etc. If you're up to the challenge, we can provide you the support and promotion.
DallasBlue works only with your help. We seek help with membership, programs, venues, sponsors, PR, design, web and IT, etc.
Our Yahoo group is perfect for editing DFW area business or technology news, events, job openings, and related sections, and getting direct exposure to thousands of other readers.
WRITE A COLUMN. Write on the latest Dallas tech or entertainment scene. Do profiles of new technologies, local companies, or bands. We don't provide hosting and so recommend a free personal web site like Yahoo Geocities or a blog like Blogger if you're not already published or don't have your own site. Use the normal submission form for a one time or occasional piece. Contact us us if you can commit to a weekly, biweekly, or monthly schedule.
BE AN EDITOR. Take over editorial responsibility for one of our sections or create your own section for a particular product, market, or service. Examples include telecom, wireless, gaming, cool web sites, small business services, venture capital funding, recruiting, legal services, etc. Being an editor requires you to both create listings and select and verify submitted listings on a weekly basis. Apply via Volunteers .
