The Entrepreneur Feature is published in the DallasBlue Entrepreneurs newsletter. It's an opportunity for entrepreneurs and investors to promote their ventures and interests and get inquiries and referrals from our community of over 1,000 readers in DFW and across the world.

Entrepreneurs should also make sure they are listed in the DallasBlue Entrepreneurs Director at http://DallasExecs.com .

All Features are published at the discretion of DallasBlue and are subject to editing without notice. Features should be strong, interesting, well-written, and applicable to a range of investors, mentors, and entrepreneurs.

Who can be featured?

The Entrepreneur Feature is open to all members of the DallasBlue community. In particular it can be used for:

  • Investors seeking ventures
  • Entrepreneurs seeking partners, management staff, funding, mentors, and other help.
  • Recruiters seeking management for ventures.
It is not intended for service providers, small businesses, and network and multi-level marketing.

Specifications

The feature must be no longer than 500 total characters, including title, spaces, and contact info. Do not include anything confidential.

An example

VENTURE SEEKS ENTREPRENEURIAL ATTORNEY. Digital media rights venture features unique business model for consumer protection and artist licensing with no competition in an open US market of 20 million consumers. There is a strong legal component (various contracts, legal network, corporate) that necessitates having a law firm or independent attorney not as a contractor, but as a partner, on an equity or deferred payment basis. Submit a feature

DallasBlue Business Directory

First, make sure you have a listing in the DallasBlue Business Directory at http://DallasExecs.com . Add a listing at http://www.dallasexecs.com/add.php .

After you create your listing, get your Directory URL. To obtain this:

  1. Go to the Directory at http://www.dallasexecs.com .
  2. Page to or search for your own listing.
  3. The first column to the left of your name contains a small document icon. When your cursor is over the icon the icon will light up and a ToolTip displays "Record Summary". Right click the icon and select Copy Link Location. Your DallasBlue directory URL will be copied to your clipboard and be similar to http://creator.zoho.com/dallasblue/view/49/record/45128000000004374/ .

Send your feature

Send an email to marc@dallasblue.com with subject "Entrepreneur Feature - {insert your company here}", for example "Entrepreneur Feature - DallasBlue". In the body of the email insert your DallasBlue directory URL, add a blank line, and include your submitted Feature.
